GratiTuesday: Clinton Grove, ’17

“In the fall of 2014 I traveled to Beijing for a semester-long study abroad program. Never have I made such close friends as I did on that trip. It is truly a blessing to have so many in the Whitworth community who have studied abroad. There is a fundamental change in the way students view the world that occurs on these study abroad experiences and I am certain that my peers and I benefit from our overseas experiences every day.”

-Clinton Grove, ’17

In 2015, 43 percent of graduating seniors participated in a study abroad program. Whitworth’s goal is to increase that number to 70% by 2021. Whitworth donors not only help students afford tuition, but they help provide access to life-changing experiences like Clinton’s. Thank you to all who support scholarships that help our students study abroad!
