Why I Serve
I serve because I am where I am today because people – including strangers – gave of their time and talents to help me live a full and rich life. It is my turn to give back through service to and with organizations who help women and girls achieve their full potential. I serve with joy and gratitude for what I have and for the opportunity to repay all that has been done for me.
How I Serve
I facilitated a round-table discussion as part of a leadership development day for college women; participated in fundraising for a scholarship drive.
Watching young women learn leadership and public speaking skills is thrilling. To see someone grow through education, mentoring and hard work is amazing.
